The loudness of the mess hall seemed to mumble over Ryma's ears as he entered the area with the both of Maeve and Devesh. The tall man would only keep a centered look and find the line, which wasn't long at all. Making his way over to it, he figured that there would be a select few things to choose from here, which didn't seem bad to him to say the least. The tall meister would walk over with a calm look on his face and get into line.
A thought occurred to the meister and he looked at Devesh. Someone would need to get them a table, it wouldn't be him, knowing he'd want to get his own food. The tall meister would look at him. "What do you want to eat from what you see in this array of food?" Rymajiro would say to him asking him with a rather uninterested look. "I'll get it for you, so long as you go get us a clean table to eat our food at." Rymajiro wouldn't unlock his sight from him until he replied.

Devesh wasn't sure what was worse: Maeve, with her straight-forward personality, or her new partner, whose size alone was enough to intimidate him, let alone the eyepatch and his demeanor. Regardless, when the meister looked at him, Dev did little aside from duck his head and look away, feeling quite overwhelmed. As he heard the dread-head's words, though, Dev relaxed a little. He was more comfortable being a gopher than he was being subjected to steely gazes.
"Uh, I packed a lunch, so you don't have to get me anything," Dev responded, still avoiding meeting the other boy's gaze. Finally managing to release his wrist from Maeve's grip, he quickly scurried off to find a 'clean table', which he located in a remote and relatively quiet corner. At this point, he plopped his rump down and pulled the paper bag out of his pack. Normally he would have left school at this point, but nooo, he'd somehow gotten roped up in the matters of some girl who wouldn't leave him alone.
Sniffling, Devesh pulled out his tuna sandwich and bit into it.

Rymajiro would nod to him with his eye growing rather lazy, a chill look falling over it. He would shrug and look at Devesh. He could see an intimidation flowing from the boy. He didn't mind that he intimidated him, it was better to be feared and respected than to be loved and respected, at least how he looked at it. Rymajiro would let out a hum and place his hands in his pockets looking over to Maeve and giving her a nod. "Go ahead of me, I feel that you haven't eaten today yet." Rymajiro would say out of the blue, as if he actually had gentlemen qualities. The tall man would grab a tray and wait in the line. After acquiring his food, he'd go over to the table looking over at Maeve, figuring she'd follow him.
The tall meister would walk over to the clean table where Devesh had found for them to eat at. Rymajiro would nod to him with the smallest smirk rising onto his face. It was a simple kind gesture to show he did good finding a table that was clean. Rymajiro would sit down and then slowly go about eating.

Rymajiro talked too much. As he gave instructions and offers to Dev, Maeve was already whisking food onto her tray. She hadn't eaten yet, just as her meister had said, and was quite eager for a meal. So, plopping anything and everything she could get her hands on, Maeve was set with a meal fit enough for an entire army. Although she probably couldn't eat all of it, she sure felt as if she could. If worse came to worse, she could force feed Dev. Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly as they whisked towards the paper bag lunch boy sitting at their table. What a fine lackey should would make of him.
Now turned around, Maeve went to face Ro-ro. Quite obviously, Maeve was pleased with her acquired meal. To her dismay, although it fell quite short from actual dismay, Maeve realized that her Meister had already made his way back to the table. She let out a short hum, finding it some what quaint as she weaved through the cafeteria and to their table. Plopping her try down, she took the seat across from the two boys.
"So Dev," she started in attempt to make casual conversation as she tore a piece of bread for eating, "What'd you bring for lunch?" All in all, so was quite curious as to what was in his bag. Taking a bit of bread and eating it neatly, she awaited the boys reply. Giving a short look to her Meister, she wondered if he was thinking was she was thinking. Mostly likely not, but if Dev was malnourished, she was going to fatten him up.

Roughly a quarter of Dev's sandwich had been eaten by the time that the meister arrived at the table, as he'd slipped into his wonderful daydream and was imagining himself saving a pretty girl from the hands of an evil kishin. When the scary boy took a seat and smirked at him, though, Devesh's daydreams melted away. He had to be on guard! Noting whatever the meister was eating, Dev ferociously bit into his sandwich. Soon Maeve joined them, and she easily had the most amount of food he'd ever seen on any girl's plate. Dev was beginning to think she was not a girl at all.
He paused in his beastly eating when she said his name, and after swallowing the stuff in his mouth, he glanced carefully into the bag. "Tuna sandwich. Apple. Some chips," he mumbled in reply. It wasn't any kind of interesting. Feeling a bit ridiculous with his lame selection, he figured he ought to steer the conversation in another direction. He just wasn't sure where to start. Both the meister and the other weapon seemed... extreme.
"So, uh... What's your name again?" he settled on, glancing in the other male's direction.

Eating calmly and not paying much mind to the other two at the moment, Rymajiro would think about what exactly might be good to strengthen resonance. Various things rose into thought about it, feeling that it'd work itself out in some way. At the moment, Ryma would go about stirring pasta with a fork he had. Raising it to his mouth in a subtle manner. He was a quiet eater, figuring there was no need to wolf down food in front of others. He was far too relaxed for such a thing.
Hearing Dev's voice mumble what he'd have for lunch, as if Rymajiro cared, however, he looked over to the boy. There was no drink the boy had. Which was interesting to say the least, most foods as dry as tuna and chips were indeed needed to have a drink, but what could he say?
When turning to his weapon partner, he found there was a large platter of food on her tray. It was unusual to say the least, having so much food for such a small girl. However, he'd seen stranger things before. Hearing Dev's question again, the blue meister would look in the direction of the tanned boy.
He forgot his name? Had he even given his name to Dev? Rymajiro would get a flat-lined mouth and look dead at the boy, his eyes cold as steel. "It's Rymajiro." The guy would say calmly to the Devesh.

Dev noted Rymajiro's steely gaze and immediately averted his eyes. He'd never been very good at eye contact, much less staring contests. "Right, I'll remember that," he said. "I'm, uh, Devesh. If you... didn't know." Goodness, this was awkward. He took another bite of his sandwich (a big one this time) and waited until he'd gulped that down to cast a glance towards the redhead. "And you're... Maeve?" he inquired, just to make certain. Of course, after getting everyone's names, he'd run out of conversation substance. If this could even count as a conversation. Dev sighed mentally and stuffed the last of his sandwich into his mouth.

Rymajiro would finish his food by this time and look to Dev. He would close his eyes and let out a hum, then look to Maeve. He felt it was about time to get done eating and get back to practicing, knowing that he wanted to be ahead of the class or at least on par. The long dread headed male wanted to test all kinds of things that regarded to her weapon form.
Rymajiro would then turn to Devesh. Letting out a sharp grunt and crossing his arms. "Devesh." Rymajiro would say to him, ignoring what he'd said to Maeve. "I'm going to be testing wavelength with you as well. The teacher didn't call for it, but that doesn't matter. You're partnerless from what the teacher has said, and saying no wouldn't be good." The only reason Rymajiro would threaten the kid was because he knew that it wouldn't be good if the kid would work by himself. Devesh wouldn't get anywhere and he knew that. Rymajiro would let out a hum and look to the boy then to Maeve, knowing his mind was made up. Something about Rymajiro is that he was that he knew a lot about soul wavelengths, even if he couldn't see them.
"Finish your meals then both of you meet me outside by the trees, we'll practice there."
Now that it was all taken care of, Rymajiro would stand up with an empty tray and walk over to the trash and slide all the left over junk on from the meal into the garbage and place the tray on top. (Exit Ryma)
